Here we ended up with a bracelet that could more easily be sized for smaller wrists but with that a much more aggressive taper from the 20-millimeter to the 16-millimeter removable link. Okay moving on. I think Rolex nailed it with the proportions of the 124270. The bracelet taper to 14mm makes it even more comfortable to wear.
The new case and lug taper to wider bracelet is spot on perfect. The 21mm lugs with a thinner taper was brilliant. This looks like a modern interpretation of a 5 digit Sub. There is a lot going on where the lugs meet the bracelet and you have to study it .
From a look and feel standpoint, it is identical in taper to a 5-digit Sub, far more elegant. But it also features the following: Supercase eliminated Proper taper restored 70 hour power reserve Wider dial Wider bracelet Larger hands Full AR coating on underside of crystal I'm so glad I was patient these past 10 years. For those of you who owned the new Submariner 41, do you find that the non-tapering bracelet and the much larger clasp are more, or less comfortable than the previous iteration? Does the new lug profile and thinner case make up for the larger bracelet? Any thoughts? Thanks!
